I. What are AGV Material Racks?

AGV material racks are intelligent warehousing equipment that combines AGV technology with traditional racks. These two navigation methods ensure that AGV material racks can reach designated positions accurately, even in complex working environments.

Equipped with high – efficiency DC motors or AC variable – frequency motors, they provide strong power output, enabling the racks to carry materials of various weights with ease. The motors, in conjunction with precise reducers and drive wheels, ensure smooth starting, acceleration, deceleration, and stopping. During operation, they generate low noise and consume less energy. Additionally, an advanced battery management system intelligently adjusts battery output according to the working status of the AGV material racks, extending battery life and ensuring long – term stable operation.

The intelligent control system is the core of AGV material racks. Through wireless communication technology, it interacts with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in real – time. After receiving task instructions from the system, it automatically plans the optimal driving route and controls the AGV material racks to complete a series of actions such as picking, transporting, and placing materials. At the same time, it continuously monitors the operating status of AGV material racks, including battery level, position, and fault information. In case of any abnormalities, it immediately takes corresponding protective measures and sends alarms to the system.
