Storlogi Heavy-Duty Beam Racking: Empowering Thailand’s Warehousing Transformation

news 6

In the vast landscape of warehousing logistics, racking systems serve as critical infrastructure, with their performance directly impacting warehousing efficiency and costs. Today, Storlogi’s heavy-duty beam racking is making a significant mark in the Thai market, delivering efficient and reliable warehousing solutions to local enterprises. Let’s delve into the unique charm of this racking system.

I. Product Features — Sturdy, Durable, and Versatile

Exceptional Load-Bearing Capacity: Storlogi’s heavy-duty beam racking is constructed from high-strength steel, with the main frame using Q235B premium steel that boasts a yield strength of 235MPa—30% higher pressure resistance than ordinary steel. The columns are made from 2.0mm cold-rolled steel plates punched by fully automated CNC presses with an accuracy of ±0.1mm. Paired with U-shaped cross-section beams welded by robots, the uniform and solid welds undergo load tests 1.5 times beyond national standards, ensuring each shelf layer can easily bear tons of goods and meet the storage needs of various heavy-duty items.

Flexible Layer Height Adjustment: The shelf height can be adjusted arbitrarily in 75mm increments according to the actual height of stored items. Whether for large mechanical components or raw materials of varying specifications, suitable storage positions can be found, greatly enhancing the flexibility of space utilization.

Diverse Storage Modes: Goods are typically placed on pallets and accessed by forklifts, compatible with various handling equipment such as reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, standard forklifts, and stackers (for shorter racks). When using double-depth reach trucks, the racks can be configured as four rows together (double-depth beam racks) to further increase storage density. Additionally, steel decks, wooden decks, or mesh decks can be laid on the beams as needed to meet picking requirements for bottom-layer goods.

II. Design Principles — Scientific Structure for Stability and Efficiency

Triangular Mechanical Stability Structure: The clever combination of columns and beams forms a stable triangular support system. When bearing the gravity of goods, it converts vertical pressure into horizontal tension, effectively preventing local deformation and ensuring the structural stability of the racks under long-term heavy loads.

Optimal Layout with Golden Ratio: Finite element analysis technology is used to precisely calculate beam spacing. While fully ensuring load-bearing performance, it reasonably reduces steel usage, achieving “lightweight without compromising quality”—both lowering costs and maintaining overall rack performance.

Operation-Oriented Passage Design: By deeply researching clients’ warehouse operation processes, the main and auxiliary passage widths are custom-designed based on key factors such as forklift turning radius and cargo turnover frequency. This ensures smoother forklift operation in the warehouse, improving work efficiency by over 20%.
